Ages 0-3 years

Focusing on newborns through two-year-olds, TC Nursery recognizes the importance of these early years when the first impressions of the “church,” the body of Christ, are being formed.

TC Nursery is offered every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening during regular church services. Guidelines, policies and procedures have been put in place to make the nursery a positive experience for both parents and children.

Ages 3-5 years

TC Preschool’s goal is to lead children in Bible-learning experiences that are active, involving, age-appropriate and reflect God’s love for them. TC Preschool is offered Sunday mornings during the 11am service.

TC Preschool believes parents are the best teachers of their children, so we work with families to supplement and enhance the biblical training they are trying to instill in their children.

Our TC Preschool teachers welcome the children into a warm, lovingly structured environment, with only the lesson material changing from week-to-week. The class schedule consists of worship and song time, prayer, giving of offerings, a Bible story, craft time and activities that emphasize the lesson.

Games, songs, visuals and skits are used to engage the children in hands-on learning, helping to reinforce the meaning behind the Bible stories.

TC Preschool knows that children won’t always remember the lessons they are taught, but they will remember an attitude of love, so the message continuously centers on how much God loves and cares for them, and how they should love and care for others as well.

Grades Kindergarten-5th

Children in grades K-5 participate in worship, learn from God’s Word, and pray on their own and for each other each Sunday at 11 am. Loving adults help them grow in their understanding of God’s love and purpose for them through exciting lessons, skits and games that demonstrate biblical truths and embrace their enthusiasm.  

K-6th Grade

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is a quick-recall discipleship ministry for children grades K – 6 that helps promote an in-depth understanding of God’s Word while learning teamwork, thinking under pressure and Christ-like behavior in competitions.

Focusing on memorizing scriptures and facts about the Bible, JBQ teams go head-to-head with other churches in local, state, regional and national competitions.

JBQ is a team game and study material is assigned according to a child’s strengths. Every quizzer is given the opportunity to be a starter on a team. A typical child who completes the program memorizes over 300 Biblical facts, including nearly 100 scripture quotations. Ninety-five percent of Junior Bible Quizzers who complete the entire program stay with the Lord through adulthood.

Boys & Girls Missionary Challenge is the missions education program in the Assemblies of God. BGMC equips kids to know, care, pray, give, and to reach the lost.
