Finding Joy in Tough Times

Let’s be real—life can be tough. We all hit those rough patches that make us question everything. But James 1:2-3 throws us a curveball: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Joy in trials? Really?

It sounds wild at first, but think about it. Those hard moments shape us, stretch us, and help us grow. They build perseverance, that inner strength we didn’t know we had. So, the next time life throws you a curveball, try to see it as an opportunity. It’s not easy, but with faith, we can find a little joy even in the mess.
